By MTV Once again we have been turned away because we are
Metal. Seems the competition we entered through Ourstage wasn't actually
looking for the best breakout band in Philly. The rules stated that
"Artists can only submit one song that is classified under the Rock
or Urban genres." Our music is too heavy to be "rock" according to Ourstage.
So it has become apparent to us that MTV is only interested in pop rock
or hip hop bands. Conceived
To Destroy Hello again my Fetal friends! I come bearing gifts
of new music. Our upcoming album has a name and is complete! We plan
on releasing Conceived To Destroy in September of this year.
Until then, I suggest you look over at the top of the left column and
check out the music player. There you can listen to one of the new songs
off the album. The name of the song is "The Alternater" and it has been
entered in a competition on Ourstage.com
for the MTV VMA Best Breakout Philly Award. Go to www.ourstage.com,
sign up as a fan, and judge in the Best
Breakout Philly Contest Channel. Give everyone's favorite band from
Fetaldelphia some sweet lovin'! We've
Been Busy! Hello again fetal friends! As the days lengthen and the heat of
the summer deepens around us, things are busy deep in the heart of the
Womb. With the final touches being made to our debut album, we are stockpiling
our brutal ordinance in preporation for a full on sonic assault of the
Fetaldelphia area. Joining forces with our good friends from Pure Death
Productions, we are fortunate enough to be a part of some of the sickest
metal shows ever witnessed in the history of man! A
taste of our upcoming album! This is your introduction to the Rotation Of Flesh! Freshly uploaded to myspace, and soon the rest of the internet, the rough mix of Rotation is our little present to all of you for supporting us since we started playing out live. We released our demo tracks around a year ago and we appreciate all the fans who have come to our shows, purchased t-shirts, and downloaded The Womb Demo. We really couldn't have come this far, on the verge of releasing a full length album, without that support! So thank you, and enjoy the rough mix of Rotation of Flesh. We also would like to take a moment to thank all the venues who have worked with us so far, and all the bands who have helped make our shows as successful as they have been. Without the scene, there would be no Fetals, and for that we are grateful to all the bands and venues who work hard to entertain all the metal and rock fans in the area. With all the thanks aside, don't forget our next show will be The Blood Apocalypse Tour at Crocodile Rock in Allentown, PA. We have tickets available for presale. Buy them from us and save yourself all the ticketmaster fees! So come out and enjoy some kick ass brutal metal with The Fetals. It's going to be one of the best metal shows on the east coast this year. Don't miss out!! Where
have we been? Once again I'm here with a long awaited Fetals update! We've been extremely busy this month getting our new album in order. The album concept has been decided and we've got people working on the artwork. Meanwhile we will be finishing up the final mixing on the album in the next week or so. Then, we'll be sending it off to be mastered. We're really excited now that we've heard all the rough mixes. It has convinced us that the final product will be worth the wait! In other exciting news, we will be playing the second stage for the Blood Apocalypse Tour when it plays Crocodile Rock in Allentown, PA on April 18th. We are currently selling tickets for the event. You can buy them on our website, or contact us if you know us. Not only will you help support us, but you'll save on the ticketmaster convenience fee! So, come out and enjoy an awesome metal show with Suffocation, White Chapel, Decrepit Birth, Veil of Maya, and of course The Fetals! Take the time to come out and see us live! I promise you won't be disappointed! 32
Hours Later... Hello again! Once again we've found ourselves back inside Range Recording Studios, but this time it's not for a mere demo. We are putting together our first full length album! We haven't yet committed to a title, but trust me there will be one by the time we're done recording. What we do know is it is going to have ten songs and be somewhere around forty minutes long. We're very close to having all the recording process complete. After that its just a matter of mixing, mastering, mass producing and finding its way into your possession. So make sure you keep checking back. I'll continue to update everyone on our progress in the meantime. Until then, the only way you can hear The Fetals is to come out and see us play live! We've got an upcoming shows dirty Jersey in March. We are playing Dingbatz in Clifton on March 12th and then the All Call Inn in Ewing on March 27th. We've also already booked our return to the Khyber for April 29th. On that show we've invited a band from Miami, Florida called Paris Is Burning to play with us. They were passing through so we figured the more brutal bands the better. So, come out and hear what's in store for our upcoming album and don't forget to ask us about our t-shirts! This
is how we start our New Year... This morning I finally woke up and the effects of playing New Year's Evil had finally worn off. I decided to take the time to update the Fetals Fan Army on what lies ahead now that there is a new year upon us. We are going into the studio to record our first full length album. That's right! We have already booked studio time at Range Recording Studios for early February. That means very soon we will be releasing all of our new music upon the world! Then everyone will know who we are... This Sunday night we will be headlining a show at the Khyber. We have put together an awesome line up for you guys. Local Demise, Sicker Than Most, and Stiff Goat Shrine are going to melt your faces for us, so that we may incinerate the bloody stump of a body that is left. If that wasn't enough to make you not miss this show, we will be debuting a brand new song. We have been working diligently in the rehearsal studio and hammered out another Fetals original..."Rotation of Flesh" There will be no survivors! This year will be forever be known as "The Year of The Fetals" Trick...or
Treat? Hello there once again to The Fan Army! I know you guys have been chomping at the bit to come out and see us play and I'm here to quell that inner desire. I'm pleased to announce our invasion of Delaware on one of the best days of the entire year...Mischief Night! Yes, that's right. On October 30th we will be wreaking havoc on Mojo 13 in Wilmington. There is no better night to make sweet metal than on the night when you're allowed to be the bad guy (or girl!). Then we unleash our fury on a Philadelphia venue we have not played yet. The Khyber will be hosting The Fetals and Stiff Goat Shrine on Tuesday November 4th. Anyone who has seen us play in the past with out good friends from SGS know that it is always a great show when we play together. Come on down to South Philly and see two of the best local metal bands out there today. That's all for now my Fetals friends. Come out and see us play. It will be worth it I promise! The
Irony Hello once again! I know all you members of The Fetals Fan Army have been waiting for an update on what we've been into, but wait no longer. We recently tore up the stage at the North Star Bar in Philadelphia. The arrangement we had with the booking company that set up the show was that the highest drawing band for the evening would be asked back to play a weekend show. As you all know, thanks to your support, you made us the highest drawing band that night! We couldn't have asked for anything more, especially being a Tuesday night. That evening the booking company offered us to come back on Friday October 24th, and we accepted. I contacted the booking company to confirm the show and we were told that the owner of the North Star asked that we not be booked again. He claims we were too metal for his venue. Too metal? Yes, too metal. So if you feel the need, go ahead and pass along how you feel to the North Star Bar on myspace or through their own website here. Let them know you want to see The Fetals there again! We are now working with the booking company to play at the Khyber in Philadelphia. We are awaiting final confirmation on a date in early November. With any luck they will be more receptive to "metal" bands. Now for the irony. We had been advertising for this show anywhere and everywhere that would listen. I stumbled upon this website called www.pahardcore.com and they had a message board. I found a forum called "All Things Metal" so I posted about us and our upcoming shows. My thread was immediate met with resistance saying we weren't even metal and to leave their fourm. After a few people defended our music the forum moderator locked our thread saying we weren't metal. There were some people so adamant that we sucked they left me messages expressing their feelings after the fact. I don't mind at all that people don't like our music. That's their right, even if they are wrong. What I don't understand is how you cannot view our music as metal and lock us out from posting in a metal thread. Needless to say, we now boycott that site. No one should be censored! Now that leads us to this Saturday!! That's right, The Fetals are returning to The Nail in Ardmore to once again wreak havoc. We will be sharing the stage with the Wonderland Murders, Under Your Bed, Ganto Barn, and Stiff Goat Shrine. This is going to be an awesome show. I suggest you don't miss it!!! Last week we were on The Nail Radio Show which is broadcasted on over 40 radio affiliates. You should check out the show here on myspace at anytime by going to The Nail's myspace or on their official site. We were on the 9/28 edition of the show. Well that's all for now. So until next time my Fetals Fans... Thank
you, and we mean that! Hey there Fetals fans! I just wanted to take an opportunity to be candid with you all and speak for the entire band. First off, we can't thank you all enough for the support so far. Without our fans we would be just another band playing shows around the Philly area. We want to send out an extra special thanks for everyone that came out to see us play the North Star Bar last night. You guys made it our most successful show to date, and have opened up more avenues for us to play. We truly can't thank you all enough. We are excited to see turn outs like this continue for a long time to come. That will lead us into some news! The show went so well last night that we have been asked back to the North Star Bar to play another show in October. The date is tentatively scheduled for Friday October 24th. As soon as we have a confirmed date we will make sure everyone knows. We now have lots of t-shirts available for sale. All of our shirts are $10 and can be purchased at our shows. You can also visit www.thefetals.com/merch and order them to be shipped directly to you. Shipping is only $3 for the first shirt and $1.50 for each additional shirt per order. So Fetalize yourself! Thanks again to everyone who has been supporting us so far, and we look forward to more kick ass shows in the future! Brutality
In Bristol Surprise! We added a show for THIS Friday the 19th. We'll be heading back into Freddies Tavern in Bristol with our good friends from Stiff Goat Shrine to shred and drink. Adding to the brutality this time are Keys to the Cadillac and La Violencia. So cancel your plans for Friday night and come to Freddies for a drunken adventure with The Fetals. Don't forget we also make our official Philadelphia debut this coming Tuesday the 23rd at the North Star Bar. We'll be headlining their New Music Series sponsored by Heyday Entertainment and Radio 104.5. This is gonna be a fun night and we plan on hanging out at the bar until we go on. Feel free to come have a few drinks with us and watch us tear up their stage. Come get metal with us. Updates
For You! Hello once again my loyal members of The Fetal Fan Army. We are getting ready for our true Philadelphia debut coming up at the North Star Bar on September 23rd. We have finalized a new song and we plan on playing it out for the first time at the North Star Bar. That's right, anyone that attends will not only get to see an awesome show, but will bear witness to the first playing of a Fetals original. So, if you haven't already, mark your calendars and come see us play live! I am excited to announce that The Fetals Official Website has launched and is running with full content. Check out all the content available. We will still be updating it as we go along, adding whatever new and fun stuff we can create for your amusement. We just set up on a website called www.ourstage.com. It is a promotional music site where bands can promote their music for fans and venues to hear and judge. Check it out. Create an account. Find us on there and tell them what you really think of us! The more votes we get the more chances and opportunities we'll get to play your favorite local venue. Finally, we have added a new show!! That's right, our invasion of South Jersey has been announced as we will be playing Championship Bar in Trenton on October 16th. Right now on the bill with us is a Boston based band called Destruct-A-Thon. There will be more bands added. This is your chance Jersey. Show us you want to be Fetalized and we'll continue to rock your local venues! That's all for me on this round. Stay Fetal. Last
Night's Show In Bristol Wanted to say thanks to Sicker Than Most for inviting us out and putting together a fucking kick ass metal show. It was a great time all around. Also wanted to thank Spectral Empire, We All Have Day Jobs, and Stiff Goat Shrine for laying down the metal as it should be laid down. If you get a chance to catch any of these guys play live do not pass it up. Thanks to everyone who came out for the show and we'll see you guys at the North Star on September 23rd. Yay beer and metal. Adding

Heavy Construction If you find anything strange about this website, like things that might suppose to do one thing and it does another, let us know of any problems that you encounter. We are still working on the site, thus things will be changing, and breaking. What's
Next For The Fetals? Hello Fetals fans, old and new alike. We are currently in the middle of a two week hiatus, but know one thing. Even when we're not working actively on our music, we are indeed working hard on other things to entertain our Fetals fanatics. Last week saw the official launch of www.thefetals.com! We owe much thanks to Waterdeepmud Entertainment (www.waterdeepmud.com) for establishing such a great website for us. It will be a work in progress for a bit as we create and add more fun content for you to read, explore, download, and brutalize to your hearts content. So don't hesitate to visit often and enjoy what The Fetals have to offer. We also have been promoting our demo tracks across the internet. We are working on getting our music out there to our Fetals faithfuls in as many ways as we possibly can. You can find us on sites like www.ilike.com, www.purevolume.com, and www.last.fm. Feel free to leave a comment or a shoutout, download a song, or add us to your profile. Just remember though, the only way you can get the actual demo CD is to see us perform live! I have also created a personal Facebook account. You can befriend Jay Fuk (they wouldn't allow my first name to be one letter the bastards) now on www.facebook.com. You can also add The Fetals band app by ilike directly from my profile to yours! We also recently had some publicity photos taken for us by Sniper Art. We truly couldn't have gotten as many great shots as we did in the time we spent posing for the camera with anybody else. You will see a lot of these great shots slowly work their way on our profiles and websites across the internet. Now that you have something to do while you anxiously await our next show, I am proud to announce we will be returning to The Nail on Saturday, October 11th. I know that is a few months away, but don't worry. We are working on other possible avenues, some that may even begin our dissent upon the world by branching out of our home in the Fetaldelphia area. Beware to all neighboring cities and areas of Fetaldelphia. You have just been put on notice. The
Webpage Is Birthed! Welcome to the dark womb that is the home of The Fetals, the newest metal band to be birthed in Fetaldelphia area. Our new home is under heavy construction, but feel free to browse around. For those with the right equipment, use our flash menu at the top to look around, low-tech and cell phone users can use the text links near the bottom. We do have some pictures and information, and more shall be added soon. For the most up to date information about The Fetals while we are constructing, please check out their myspace page (link above). If you wish to speak with The Fetals, see our Contact link below.
